 Benvenuti a tutti nel forum dedicato Zachary David Alexander Efron.Zac è un'attore,cantante e ballerino statunitense.E' nato il 18 ottobre 1987 a San Luis Obispo, in California dai genitori David Efron, un ingegnere elettronico, e Starla Baskett, segretaria nella stessa azienda dove lavora il padre. Ha un fratello minore, Dylan Efron.
All'età di soli 10 anni comincia ad interpretare musical come Peter Pan, Little Shop of Horrors, The Music Man e Mame. Nel 2002, Efron iniziò ad avere piccoli ruoli in famose serie televisive, tra cui Firefly, E.R. e The Guardian.
Zac inoltre interpretò Cameron Bale nella serie televisiva molto apprezzata dai teenagers, prodotta dalla Warner Bros, Summerland. Originalmente il ragazzo fu optato come personaggio secondario, ma nella seconda stagione fu reso un personaggio principale. La serie fu però cancellata e Zac Efron ebbe dei ruoli da guest star in altre serie TV tra cui CSI: Miami, NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Zack e Cody al Grand Hotel e prestò la voce a uno dei personaggi del cartone animato The Replacements.
Nel 2003 lavorò per il TV Network Lifetime dove recitò nel film Miracle Run. Interpretò i panni di Steven Morgan, uno dei due gemelli malato di autismo. Per questo ruolo fu nominato come Young Artist Award per la miglior interpretazione in un TV Movie. Nel 2005 partecipò al videoclip di Hipe Partlow Sick Inside.
Nel 2006 la svolta: Zac protagonista del Disney Channel Original Movie,High School Musical, come Troy Bolton, con altre attrici famose come Vanessa Anne Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale e Monique Coleman, che, come Efron, sono tutte apparse nella serie Zack e Cody al Grand Hotel, e gli attori Lucas Grabeel e Corbin Bleu. Il ruolo aggiudicatosi gli permette di entrare tra le star giovani più famose in America grazie anche al successo del film. Nell'agosto 2006 Efron vinse ai Teen Choice Awards in una categoria che condivide con Vanessa Hudgens. Inoltre, dopo le richieste dai fan, il film fu promosso in Australia, Regno Unito e altri paesi ma all'High School Musical Concert organizzato negli Stati Uniti l'attore non partecipò a causa delle riprese di Hairspray - grasso è bello, dove Zac interpretava uno dei personaggi pricipali.
Il ragazzo debuttò simultaneamente in due classifiche il 4 febbraio 2006 nella Billboard Hot 100, con Get'cha Head in the Game e Breaking Free, un duetto con Vanessa Anne Hudgens dal film High School Musical. La settimana successiva oltre alle due nominate prima altri successi del film si fecero vedere nella classifica: Start of Something New, What I've Been Looking For e We're All in This Together.
La carriera musicale di Efron è stata messa a duro rischio quando è stato rivelato che nella colonna sonora di High School Musical la sua voce era stata unita a quella di Andrew Seeley.
Nel 2006, Efron ha partecipato alla versione cinematografica del musical Hairspray uscito il 20 luglio 2007 negli USA e il 28 settembre 2007 in Italia. Efron ha cantato tutte le sue canzoni della colonna sonora usando la propria voce. Il film è stato girato a Hollywood dal 26 giugno al 25 agosto 2007. Per il ruolo nella pellicola ha dovuto tagliare i suoi capelli e tingerli di un nero molto scuro. Le performance di Efron nel film hanno ricevuto diverse recensioni positive.
Efron ha presentato la categoria "Film preferito" ai Teen Choice Award del 2007 insieme a Queen Latifah.Tra i prossimi progetti di Efron troviamo Seventeen Again, una commedia prodotta da Adam Shankman e basata sulla storia di Jason Filardi;la trama vede la storia di un adulto che una mattina si risveglia diciassettene. |
